What the laser takes off.
Log walls and exposed frames collect grey weathering, failed stain and mildew. Laser cleaning removes the damaged surface layer and leaves sound wood ready for a fresh finish.
- Failed stain and varnish
- Grey UV weathering
- Mildew and algae on surface fibres
- Old chinking residue on log faces
Why not sand or strip?
Pressure washing forces water into checks and joints, and sanding rounds crisp log profiles. A laser works dry and only affects the surface, so the shape of the timber stays as it was built.

Common questions.
Can you clean walls that are already installed?
Yes. The equipment is portable and works in place on walls, gable ends and exposed beams.
Do I need to restain afterwards?
Clean wood accepts stain evenly, so we recommend a protective finish soon after cleaning.
Ready to bring your wood back?
Send a few photos and the size of the area. We reply with a plan and a fixed price.
